About this experience
Some of the most tender, tangled love on earth lives between a mother and daughter. You may love each other deeply and still fall into painful loops: old roles, unspoken hurts, conversations that never quite land. Maybe there was a rupture, from the subtle to the extreme. Maybe there is distance or surface-level connection neither of you knows how to cross. Or maybe your bond is already loving, and you want to expand it into fuller expressions of the force of nature that it is. Mother-Daughter Metamorphosis, created originally by a mother-daughter team, is a guided psilocybin journey for women ready to begin their next life-chapter together with their mother and/or daughter. As the most intimate relationship designed by nature, the mother-daughter bond is life's deepest mirror. The patterns between you were shaped over decades and generations, and sometimes talking alone can feel like pushing against a brick wall. Within a carefully prepared container, psilocybin can soften rigid ways of seeing and open a window of relational opportunity where old stories loosen and new ways of relating become imaginable. This journey can truly bring you to the root of durable change. This process, designed for either individuals or pairs, unfolds in three phases: Preparation: We explore your physical and psychological health, the history and hopes of your relationship, the patterns you want to move beyond, and a shared Relational Vision for who you want to be to each other. Journey Day: Held at a licensed healing center in Colorado. Each woman's journey is individual and held on separate days, ideally scheduled close in time together. Integration: We translate what surfaced into real change: new agreements, repair conversations, and practices that carry your expanded connection into everyday life. This work draws on experiential family systems approaches, Acceptance and Commitment principles, and years of coaching mothers, daughters, and families, held with deep respect and integrity. This experience is especially for: - Any mother and/or daughter seeking to share a profound and beautiful experience together - Mothers and adult daughters who love each other and want to evolve together beyond old, constricting dynamics - Women navigating a rupture, estrangement, or long-held grief with their mother or daughter - Mothers and daughters moving through identity transitions and life thresholds - Women grieving the death of their mother and or daughter What you may leave with: a more honest understanding of each other beyond the distortions of culture and upbringing, clearer language for your needs, and a shared relational vision for your path ahead. I created JourneyOn and Mother-Daughter Metamorphosis with my own mother, Christy. Our relationship remains my greatest teacher. $6000 per pair ($3400 per person). Journeys take place at one of two licensed Colorado healing centers: NeuroAlchemy in Denver, or Chariot in Boulder.

Solo: 1 x 30 min prescreen, 2 x 60 min preparation sessions, 1 x 6-10 hr journey day, medicine and healing center/handler fees included, 2 x 60 min integration sessions.
Pair: 2 x 30 min prescreen (one per woman), 2 x 60 min individual preparation sessions (one per woman), 1 x 90 min shared preparation session, 2 x 6-10 hr journey days (one individual session per woman), all medicine/handler/healing center fees included, 2 x 60 min individual integration sessions (one per woman), 1 x 90 minute shared integration session.

Refund Policy
Initial screening to determine provider-client fit is free. To proceed, a 50% deposit is due up front to secure mutual commitment to all scheduled preparation and integration sessions as well as to reserve the healing center space, date(s), and medicine. Final and total payment is due no later than two weeks before the scheduled journey date(s). Spent preparation sessions are nonrefundable ($200/hr). Cancellation and rescheduling policy varies by healing center. Full refund (minus any spent preparation sessions and healing center cancellation fees) is available up to 30 days before the journey day (depending on healing center policy); within 30 days, the deposit is non-refundable but may be applied to a rescheduled date (depending on healing center policy).
Safety & Screening
All experiences on Althea are facilitated by licensed or verified providers. Participants must be at least 21 years old and complete a health screening before booking is confirmed. If it is determined that you are ineligible, fees will be refunded.
