I have built my entire practice around one conviction - that love is not something we lose. It is something we forget how to tend. And tending it is the most important work a human being can do. The inner cultivation of loving oneself is a lifelong journey. As we grow older, the arc of being human in this world brings its own challenges and yet more resources for healing than any generation before us has had access to. Tending love for self is rooted in dignity, curiosity, and the radical act of befriending yourself. We so easily become our own harshest critic. This work is heart-led, compassionate, and fiercely committed to bringing that tenderness forward, into our relationships, our communities, and the world. I hold a Natural Medicine Facilitator in Training License, and have a decade of experience of working within the healing arts and sacred plant medicines. My studies stem from Naropa University in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Psychology, Denver Family Institute and from indigenous elders of the South with a lens through Maya and Shipibo Cosmology. My work reflects bridging modern psychology and ancestral wisdom. I believe preparation and integration are key players into medicine work that can lead to self-discovery in the season of life you are in. As a first generation Latina, I know what it's like to surf in the in-between of belonging. I enjoy supporting first and second generation immigrants, Spanish speaking, and those returning to their cultural roots. I have a special interest in working with women, couples, family dynamics and BIPOC. I hold a lens with a holistic and systemic frame that is trauma informed. This work is dear to my heart and my intention is create a space where you feel safe and empowered. Happy to answer any questions, please reach out. I look forward to meeting you.
